Filter cartridges

At ts-systemfilter, both screw and plug connections are available.

Tool-free cartridge replacement is standard in our dedusting filter units.

Depending on the design of the cartridges, replacement is possible from the raw gas and/or clean gas side.

Our standard cartridge is a two-piece design. If the filter surface can no longer be regenerated, only the outer star filter is replaced and the support body is reused. This principle is based on an invention by the company's founder, Hartwig Straub. Resource conservation has been our focus for over 45 years.

One-piece filter cartridges complement the product portfolio.

We also supply filter cartridges with 3-hook fastenings for installation in other dedusting filter units.

Star filter with seperate support tube

One of the oldest inventions by company founder Hartwig Straub is the »tubular pleated filter element« patent no. DE 34 39 194. In the original ts star filter »ts-e«, we have combined all the advantages of hose and bag filters.

The raw gas side is sealed from the clean gas side by end plates moulded at the star filter. Large maintenance openings in the filter housing on the raw gas side facilitate the replacement of filter elements and prevent contamination of the clean gas side.

Star filters are available in lengths from 20 cm to 100 cm with up to 80 folds, depending on the required filter area. 

Support structure

The two-part star filters »ts-e« and »ts-p« are screwed into the filter plate using a reusable support tube »ts-r«.

The filter surface is disposed of separately so that the support tube can be reused and waste separation is made easier.

The support tubes are made of galvanised steel or stainless steel, depending on requirements.

Hose filters

The »ts-s« hose filter was developed for applications involving particularly sticky bulk materials or high process temperatures. All commercially available filter media can be used for this purpose.

It can be installed on either the raw gas or clean gas side.

A vibrating spring serves as a support element in the hose filter. 

Multifunction star filter

The star filter was modified by the multi-functional star filter »ts-x«.

It has got a self-sealing plug-in connection and can be installed from the dirty air side as well as from the clean air side.

The multifunction-star filter doesn´t require any additional support. This way the filter area yields to differential pressure and promotes pneumatic regeneration.

According to requirements multifunction-star filters are available 60 cm or 100 cm in length.

Activated carbon filter

Activated carbon filters contain activated carbon for the filtration of pollutants like dust or heavy metals from liquids or gases.

Metal filter

Metal filters are particularly well suited for processes involving high temperatures or where high chemical resistance (e.g. batteries) is required. 

Replacement parts for other brands

Filter bags with a diameter of 85 mm. They are attached by clamping the mounting flange. Filter cartridges with a diameter of approx. 138 mm. The filter cartridges can be used with a 6-hook adapter for different mounting circles (180 mm and 195 mm).
